Most of these posh hotel bars do not allow single men in. If you want to get in, the best thing to do is to stay in the hotel. Hotel guests usually get a pass or invite into the hotel bar. Otherwise, I would recommend going with a large group of single, pretty girls if you want any chance of getting in.How can I get into the Sky Bar or The Standard Hotel bar in Los Angeles, California?

Sup Matt - you need a hook up, or a lot of cash, or both. The Sky Bar is uber trendy and expensive on top of that. You gotta look sharp and a hot car helps too (valet will help). But overall, you really need the hook ups; most of the people in those bars are VIP guests because they had a friend that knew a friend that knew the cousin of the bouncer that worked two weeks ago.





Getting is cool; the people are superficial and they're that way on purpose - it's all about the fun; but be ready to shell some cash out unless you hook up with, um...let's say...Paris Hilton?
